This provides you with:
- Exclusive hire of Dunowen House and Orchard Cottage during your stay, and use of all areas including the dining room, outdoor terrace, extensive gardens and all other reception rooms for your celebrations.
- Overnight accommodation for up to 20 guests for two nights.
- Hosting your HSE / official approved civil ceremony on site, if desired.
- Seating and table settings, including a choice of heirloom tableware.
- Standard table flowers & house flower arrangements. Cut flowers grown here at Dunowen.
- Our services in assisting you plan for the day and access to our recommended list of local wedding suppliers and services

Dunowen House Full Description
Each year we host a select number of weddings, working with couples who want a more intimate, laid back and personal celebration. As the former home of Noel Redding, bassist with the Jimi Hendrix Experience, the house is full of memorabilia and reminders of its truly unique history.
Dunowen House is fully licensed to host weddings on site, with ceremonies being conducted inside, outside on the large terrace or under the 200 year old sycamore tree in the garden.
With smaller weddings, it’s sometimes hard not to feel overwhelmed in more traditional venues. At Dunowen we have capacity to cater for ceremonies of up to 30 guests and sleeping accommodation for up to 20 guests, making it a perfect private country house venue for a more intimate wedding. Our package is based on a minimum stay of 2 nights so you and your guests really get to relax and enjoy the house and coastal surroundings.
All catering is provided on-site, with the flexibility to work with us to create your own unique menu. Vegan and vegetarian menus are a speciality, with most produce grown in our walled gardens or sourced locally in West Cork.
