Glasson Lakehouse

I'm from the UK and we traveled over to have our wedding at Glasson Lake House. It was the best day of our lives. Aileen and Colum were our wedding planners and they did such an amazing job I can't thank them both enough. All the staff including reception, cleaning, bar staff, serving staff and everyone we were in contact with at Glasson were incredible they couldn't do more for us. They made everything so easy and the venue itself is absolutley beautiful. We will definatley be returning for our first wedding anniversary. We got married in Glasson Lakehouse in July 24 and we had the best weekend of our lives! The staff could not have been more helpful, nothing we asked was too much for them. Special shoutout to Aileen who was the best wedding coordinator ever!! Couldn't recommend Glasson more, we are already looking forward to staying again.

Myself & my husband were fortunate to have our wedding ceremony and reception here in March. The venue is amazing. The staff were so helpful and friendly. From the moment we booked the wedding right up to the day the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you Alexandra, you were so helpful and organised and the day went so smoothly. You were so lovely to deal with. The food was delicious, the rooms were fabulous, staff were brilliant, our guests are still talking about how fabulous it was. We had our wedding reception here and it was beautiful. All our friends and family raved about the venue and food. The staff on the whole weekend were so helpful and friendly to everyone. Even with a few setbacks due to the weather, we had the most magical day and the most stunning photos! The heated pool was amazing the day after the wedding for some relaxation and the golf course was a big hit. Lovely child friendly spots with a play room, playground and lovely child friendly food options! Really a great hit with the whole wedding party !

We arrived at Glasson Lakehouse on the 24th of April 2024 with our family and friends in tow, for 3 days. Our Wedding took place on the 25th of April 2024. To say our experience was extraordinary is an understatement, to explain how incredibly special the whole experience was, not only for us but for our family and friends, has left me struggling to find the words. To the entire Team at Glasson Lakehouse, if I could have, I would have given you a standing ovation. From the moment we landed we were treated like royalty, nothing was a problem that couldn’t be resolved and there was always a smile. Our rooms were fantastic, the cleanliness was second to none, the Bridal Suite was breathtakingly gorgeous! The food and wine served to us over those few days was just so delicious! From the lady cleaning the function room (forgive me, as I don’t know your name) who kindly encouraged us to come and do a ‘practice run of the ceremony’ the night before. She was smiling. To Laura at Reception who painstakingly went through every detail with me, thank you. You were smiling. The Bar Staff in Tom’s who accommodated us on the 24th, thank you. You were smiling. To Martina, on the morning of the Wedding, attending on me and mine, thank you. You were smiling. To the staff who took care of our gang of 70 on the day of the wedding, you were efficient, helpful, kind and… smiling. To the guy behind the Bar on the night of the wedding (forgive me, as I don’t know your name) but you went out of your way to find Fintan the following day to thank him, but it is us who thank you. You were smiling. To the lads behind the Bar on ‘Day 2’, you were amazing, thank you. You were smiling. Finally, to the wonderful Alexandra, our Wedding Co-ordinator in Glasson, you literally went above and beyond. You are the reason it went so smoothly and we will be forever grateful to you for making it a ‘Dream Come True’. In short, I cannot recommend Glasson Lakehouse enough to anyone out there considering Glasson as their Wedding Day Venue. From Fintan and myself……. heartfelt thanks to all of you. We had our wedding reception in Glasson Lakehouse in May 2024. Our experience with the hotel and their staff from day one has been exceptional. Our guests have commented on how beautiful the food was, how exceptional the table and bar service was on the night and how relaxed the whole day was and in my opinion this was down to the staff at the hotel who ensured everything was well organized and ran smoothly. Alexandra was our wedding coordinator and she fulfilled our asks and more. Any requests we had were never an issue and she was always so accommodating. She really was a joy to work with! I could not recommend Glasson Lakehouse enough to anyone who was considering it as a wedding venue. The hotel and grounds are beautiful but it really is the standard of service you receive that makes it stand out.
