I am a freelance makeup artist and hairstylist specialising in weddings and special occasions. I feel I bring a sense of calm and experience to your wedding morning. The bit I enjoy the most on the wedding morning, is seeing the whole look come together, once a bride is in her dress. I’ve had a passion for makeup and hair from a young age. I was always giving (patient) friends and family makeovers and loved how a little bit of makeup could not only enhance someones natural beauty but also give them confidence to feel their best. I trained in Beauty Therapy and Hairdressing as soon as I could and now have built up 8 years of experience. I was lucky enough to have learnt from makeup artist Louise Young. Throughout this time I have assisted and worked solo on many jobs for bridal and prom looks. The types of looks I enjoy doing the most are very feminine, effortless and romantic. ​I use a variety of brands and products in my kit. Some makeup brands you’ll find are: Mac, Charlotte Tilbury, Urban Decay, Clinique, Anastasia Beverly Hills and Bobbi Brown. Hair products you’ll find are: Professional L’oreal, TiGi, Diva. My favourite makeup products at the moment are: The Balm Mary Lou Manizer for a beautiful glow to the skin and Eye of Horis eyeliners as they last all day! Jess x
