Kirsty McCall Hair & Make up

There are not enough words in the dictionary to thank Kirsty and to describe how lovely and professional she is. From day one of contacting her to my big day she was always there. Even to the point of helping me get into my dress. Everyone says how beautiful the bride looks but you never hear the brides side! I can honestly say I’d never felt more beautiful. I look back at our wedding photos and the photos that Kirsty took on the day and there isn’t a single one where I think “ oh god I look awful” I wanted to look the best version of myself but still look like me, especially as I wasn’t wearing my glasses and feel my eyes look tiny when I don’t have them on. Kirsty made my eyes look amazing and big and added my obsession of glitter into them too. Kirsty also did an amazing job on my bridesmaid, who bless her has some scarring and blemishes from acne and is still suffering from it in certain places. Asha was so worried about the makeup covering them and making her look flawless and I’ve got to say she looked absolutely stunning! She’s stunning anyway but you could just see she was filled with confidence all day. The before and after transformation is just amazing!! I just want to thank Kirsty again and again for making myself and my bridesmaid feel so beautiful and confident. I can’t recommend her enough! I’m a hairdresser myself and all my brides I have recommended Kirsty to them even if they have a make up artist in mind. Kirsty’s value for money is second to non. I liked the fact that everyone was the same. I’d spent hours and hours looking for a make up artist that didn’t cake my face in so much make up that I found greasy or want an extortionate amount of money for poor quality of skill and make up products. Kirsty was fantastic from the start. Her prices and payment process was outlined from the beginning so I knew what to pay and there were no surprises or last minute fees. She came to my house for the hair and makeup trial and chatted through any concerns or wishes that I had for the day. As my hair is very thick and curly, she arranged to blow dry my hair the day before my wedding which was actually a lovely treat and helped me to relax. On my wedding day she arrived with plenty of extra time, she made me feel calm and was very organised. She made sure I was happy and set before she left and she took plenty of photos so I could see what I looked like once she had finished. Overall I found Kirsty to be extremely well organised, easy to communicate with, calm and reassuring on the day and she provided beautiful hair and make up services so I would definitely recommend her to any bride - especially those with difficult (frizzy, thick or afro) hair as she definitely knows what she's doing with a blow dry brush!!

I cannot recommend Kirsty highly enough. She made me feel absolutely fabulous on my wedding day. She listened to exactly what I wanted and went above and beyond to help me create exactly the look that I had in mind. Not only is she incredibly talented but she is also absolutely lovely and will make you feel completely at ease and like a million dollars!!! To find someone who is equally as talented in hair and make up is a difficult task but I absolutely found this in Kirsty. Both my hair and make up were flawless and lasted all day. I booked Kirsty on a recommendation from a friend and I am so glad that I did. I would confidently recommend her to any bride and can guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Kirsty was truly incredible, so friendly a d helpful. Everyone felt at ease with her. The make up lasted all day and some, the detail in the hair was beautiful. I cannot recommend her highly enough and am looking forward to finding a reason to use her again. X
