Melissa Clare Makeup & Hair

Mel and her team were the hair and make up artists for one of my brides. They provided hair and make up for the bride, 4 bridesmaids and the mother of the bride, Mel also came back in the evening to do a touch up service. The girls looked beautiful, hair and make up stayed in place all day, they worked to a pre-planned schedule, keeping the wedding morning running on time and were a pleasure to have around. I would certainly recommend to future clients.

I found Melissa through Bridebook and arranged a trial shortly after. Melissa is extremely talented with hair and make up which is quite a rare find. Melissa was really personable and was particularly patient with me when I was indecisive about my hairstyle! On my wedding day, Melissa's calming nature kept me at ease and my hair and make up were absolutely gorgeous. I have very thick hair which can be challenging and it stayed in the style that she created all day. I would highly recommend Melissa to any bride, she is fantastic!

I don't know where to start describing how wonderful Melissa has been. From beginning to end, she did my hair / make-up with such passion and perfection. Melissa listened to my wishes and carefully acted upon them. I could trust her and felt really looked after and nourished. She also gave a ton of advice on how to prepare myself for my wedding day to look as good as possible. Besides being excellent at her job, Melissa is a lovely person and I can highly recommend her!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I recently married and Melissa did hair and make-up for myself and the bridal party- she provided a fantastic service from start to finish, catering to everybody's individual needs and making us all very happy on the day. Mel was full of advice and useful tips leading up to the wedding (beauty related and more), she had great ideas to help me perfect the look I was aiming for and most importantly she made me look and feel better than I thought possible on the day. Mel I cannot thank you enough nor can I recommend you highly enough!!!

I simply cannot recommend Melissa enough! I was soooo apprehensive before the original trial, as I didn’t think anything could be done with my straggly, super fine hair! But I came away so excited for my (now husband!) to see what I looked like on our wedding day! On the day itself, Melissa could not have been more friendly and helpful as well as being ridiculously efficient and even providing rescue remedy gum when my nerves took over!! I loved both my hair and make-up – which stayed put all day, and looks fab in every photo! 5 stars all round :)
