From the moment I met Rachel I knew I had made the right choice. We instantly clicked and she just knew exactly what I wanted. I came to her with two very different ideas in mind, telling her I was struggling to decide what direction I wanted to go. She just said: Don't worry, I can do both. And she did! It was really important to me that I had something special, something different, and that's what Rachel created. Everyone was utterly blown away by her creation. It was like nothing anyone had ever seen before. I felt like a queen. Thank you so much, Rachel.

Rachel is a genius. I cannot recommend her highly enough as she not only made me the perfect wedding dress, but she became a friend (and sometimes a counsellor!) in the process. She’s ridiculously talented, and I trusted her implicitly to do what looked/worked best – quite a scary thing to do, but it was absolutely worth it. All of this came at the same price I would have paid for a designer wedding dress and alterations! I still can’t believe my luck I found her on Instagram a year ago and having my dress made by Rachel was the best decision I made this year (apart from marrying my husband of course)! As a size 16-18 plus size bride I had some less than ideal experiences in bridal boutiques – “we can just hold the sample size 12 dress up to you for you to see what it looks like” – and I felt lost and unworthy to wear a wedding dress before I met Rachel. I had a clear idea that I didn’t want a lace or tulle wedding dress or a ball gown, but was relatively open about what it could look like. What we originally envisaged we scrapped early on, which is the beauty of working with Rachel. I took her lead and let her show me various styles from mermaid, to a-line, and we settled on a slim a-line dress. As my fittings progressed, we added lace to the sleeves and in a beautiful panel on the back, as well as changing from a pearl belt to a hand-beaded waistband which matched my hair vine. My dress was perfect, and on the day I have never felt more beautiful. I still haven’t seen a dress from any designer that even remotely resembles my dress, which is testament to how extraordinary Rachel is.
