Cedars Yard

We recently got married at Haslemere museum last month. Emma came and hosted a "your guest canvas" event. We weren't sure what to expect at first but Emma came round and discussed colours and her ideas. By that point we were so excited, Emma's enthusiasm and passion shone through and was contagious! We arrived at our reception to see this big canvas with our guests buzzing around it excitedly, picking up a paint brush and getting stuck in. It was a wonderful focal point of the drinks reception - it stimulated conversation, creativity, laughter and even some competition. Emma had thought of everything, even old-school backwards shirts so that suits and dresses were protected. We came back from our honeymoon and Emma brought round the piece having put on finishing touches. It's just incredible - the colours leap off the wall and gleam when the light hits it. Weeks later our family and friends are still chatting about it and they can't wait to see the finished piece when they come over. We're having great fun figuring out who did what bit. The painting that hangs in our living room is so much more than just paint on canvas. It's got a little bit of everyone in it and we're so pleased that Emma could make this happen. We'll look at it everyday and remember our wedding - we'll truly cherish it. Thankyou.
