Welcome to my little corner of Bridebook! I am Rebecca, a creatively bespoke wedding florist based in Orpington, Kent. I love nothing more than working with couples to create wedding flowers that truly reflect you, your love and your vision. I turn ideas and dreams into reality, bringing things to life in a way that is even better than you ever imagined. I am truly honoured that my couples trust me with their wedding flowers – It is not something I take lightly. A lot of work goes into each step, from consultations to proposals and mood boards, selecting every single stem of foliage and flower, the fine details that make everything so personal and finally seeing it all come together on the day of the wedding.. Spring Wedding at The Ferry House Inn

Rebecca created the flowers for our wedding in February and I can't recommend her enough! From start to finish, she went above and beyond to make sure everything came together, from renting us everything we needed decoration wise, arranging our Succulent plant favours and setting up our table plan. It was perfect and all of our guests commented on how amazing the flowers were. We changed our minds a couple of times on colours during the planning process and Rebecca was more than happy to accommodate and take things through. Honestly, amazing!

Summer wedding at St Julians

Rebecca created the most beautiful flower arrangements for our wedding in August 2019. We went to Rebecca with a fairly loose brief - bright, colourful and natural. She immediately understood what we were looking for, and suggested that she could pick our flowers from a local grower a few days before the wedding, which really appealed to us. We were so happy we went with that approach - the flowers were simply stunning - we got so many compliments. Rebecca was also a delight to work with - always quick to reply and so kind and positive.

Sunflower wedding at Hayne House

Rebecca did all the flowers for my wedding and it is impossible to put into words how happy I was with her work. They looked out of this world and they were absolutely perfect for our theme. I honestly could not have asked for anything more, from hair clips and button holes to bouquets and centre pieces, everything was just perfect. Rebecca’s work is outstanding and the mood boards she creates make it so easy to understand and visualise what the final design will be like. She offered hours of consultation to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. Separately to my wedding flowers, Rebecca’s wreath making workshops at Christmas are also brilliant fun. I would highly recommend Lilac and Lace Floral Design to everyone for any occasion.

Stunning wedding at Falconhurst

Rebecca really is one of the loveliest women I’ve ever met! I knew from the second we met that I could trust her 1 million percent, and she were the only supplier I didn’t have to nag at any stage. With regards to the actual flowers, I have never seen anything so beautiful in my life! My bouquet arrived and my Mum cried. As a florist she understood what I wanted and executed it perfectly, she really is a truly incredibly talented lady. I will recommend Rebecca to everyone and anyone and I will use her for every occasion possible.

Wedding at Preston Court

Rebecca produced some beautiful creations for our wedding at Preston Court. In the lead-up she went above and beyond in listening to our ideas and themes whilst suggesting things we hadn't thought of which would be in season at the time. The mood board she produced was really helpful in bringing our discussions to life. On the day, Rebecca's creations really did have the wow factor and many of our guests commented on how stunning the flowers were on their tables. To top it off, Rebecca is super professional and a lovely person - we felt in very good hands which is exactly what you want when wedding planning is stressful enough!
