You are looking for a live band to hire for your wedding? We are so glad you have found us. Weddings are one of Firefly’s specialities – we’ve played at more than 500 of them! We pride ourselves on being by your side every step of the way as you plan your big day. We can work with you on: your itinerary – how you would like us to fit in with the timings for your wedding breakfast, the length of the live music set, songs you love and any other entertainment you may have organised? Unlike many other wedding bands you could hire, Firefly doesn’t believe in a one size fits all policy – we view every wedding as unique – a special, bespoke occasion – and we work with you to ensure that Firefly is a five or six-piece band, consisting of drums, bass, guitar, keyboards and 4 vocalists (2 male & 2 female). We have state of the art sound and lighting. Firefly can also supplement its line-up to suit the occasion with extra singers, saxophonists and percussionists. The usual Firefly wedding package includes: * 5 or 6-piece band (1 or 2 female lead vocalists, 2 male lead vocalists (drummer & guitarist), 4-part harmonies, optional saxophone, keyboards, lead guitar, bass guitar, drums (+ option to add trumpet) * Professional PA (sound) system and lights, managed by our fully qualified front of house sound engineer (for crystal clear sound and special effects)! * Two hours of dancefloor filler live music sets (pop, rock, funk, soul, & Motown from 1960's to current chart hits) plus optional third hour of live music – either dancefloor filler music or a jazz / swing / ballad set (for a small additional fee) * Disco between live sets * Option for live music during ceremony and / or afternoon reception.
