My harp music is not only for your ceremony, but your drinks reception, your wedding breakfast or afternoon tea also! I arrange much of my music for the harp myself, so you will hear familiar pop songs, for example in a totally unique form! Please enjoy reading on, to realise how the harp can enhance your special day: Here is the format and some musical suggestions for a civil or church ceremony: As Guests Arrive:  Light classical pieces for harp by Parry, Debussy, Chopin, Handel, Bach. (around 15 mins for a civil OR 30mins for a church wedding) In church, the organist would play your hymns. Entrance of the Bride:   Canon in D by Pachelbel or Wedding March by Wagner (Here comes the Bride) are popular choices, as are Ode to Joy, by Beethoven or the Hornpipe by Handel (from the Water Music) Signing of the Register:  There is usually time for 2 songs here. Love Theme from Romeo and Juliet, or the Largo (from the Four Seasons) by Vivaldi are often chosen, or sometimes people choose favourite pop songs instead. Exit of the Happy Couple:  The Wedding March (from A Midsummer Night's Dream) by Mendelssohn or The Arrival of the Queen of Sheba are favourites too. If you like BOLLYWOOD SONGS, its lovely to mix them in with some traditional music, while signing the register perhaps. Favourites are Tere Liye, Tum Hi Ho &Hey Shona. DRINKS RECEPTION: My music is a lovely way to complement your drinks/canape reception. Guests love to "spot the song" & I love anticipating the songs they enjoy! Couples are also welcome to enjoy a photo opportunity with the harp Although I only play my instrument indoors, I can happily sit by open patio doors and use my amplifier if guests mingle indoors and out - depending on the layout of your venue WEDDING BREAKFAST / MEAL / AFTERNOON TEA: I can provide the perfect ambiance with my wide range of musical styles: Classical, Modern pop covers, Show & Disney tunes, Well known Oldies & Kids' songs too!
