We organised our wedding within a week as my father was very ill in hospital with terminal cancer. Ioan kindly agreed to capture the bittersweet day and did so beautifully and with great empathy. Ioan came to our house, the registry office, the hospital chapel and to my father's hospital ward. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he was incredibly sensitive given the situation. The photos and slide show are incredible and will be treasured by our whole family forever. I can't thank Ioan enough for capturing these beautiful memories.

We are so happy with our wedding photos. Were glad we chose Celynnen for our wedding. Ioan and his assistant were fab on the day and made us laugh a lot. Ioan did a great job getting all the group shots quickly and easily. He is also a discreet photographer, during the ceremony I hardly knew he was there, all the while capturing the most amazing pictures, and capturing every emotion. Celynnen know Portmeirion very well and took us pretty much around the whole village for our couple portraits, which we loved.

Ioan was absolutely fantastic. Exactly what we wanted in a wedding photographer. He didn’t just capture the memories of the day but became part of some wonderful memories of the day too! We both felt completely at ease, and after our pre-wedding shoot it was having a good friend photograph our wedding. The documentary style has perfectly encapsulated the joy, humour and tears on the day. We are still in awe at how we didn’t notice him once during the ceremony, but captured it from every possible angle - he is truly a wedding photography ninja! We appreciated his honesty and good humour. We had originally spotted his work due to the documentary style and also the quality of his black and white photographs and the results today confirm exactly why we chose him. You won’t regret a decision to choose Ioan as your wedding photographer.

Both my husband and I found the initial process a little awkward as we both find formal photographs uncomfortable. However, on the day we were put at ease and as requested most photos taken were of us “in the moment” looking natural throughout the day. We have some amazing photographs to help us remember our special day. Thank you so much.
