Why pick Lucy as your photographer shouldn't be the question you ask yourself, it should be why wouldn't you pick Lucy. We cannot express how incredible our experience was. From the initial meet up for coffee we instantly knew that we wanted Lucy to photograph our day. Someone who wasn't loud and bossy and who wouldn't spend all day making us pose in awkward positions whilst our guests were off having fun.
After the initial meet up, it wasn't a case of us having to chase for information or not hearing from Lucy until the day before as we'd receive beautiful notes in the post which would reignite our excitement for the big day!
We were a bit apprehensive about our pre-wedding photo shoot but we were put completely at ease as it was almost like Lucy wasn't there and we were just messing around as normal. When we saw the photographs from the shoot we were even more excited for the big day!
After a final meet up over a drink or two we couldn't wait for our wedding. On the day itself, it felt like Lucy was a guest as well as our photographer. Not only that, but everyone commented on how wonderful she was throughout the day, allowing us to enjoy ourselves and capturing our story naturally. We were still able to have group shots, but our favourites were the ones where we were being photographed without knowing - I didn't realise we laughed that much!
After the wedding, we received our photographs and they were absolutely stunning - We had no idea that Lucy took so many pictures and the ones that she captured were of moments that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Not only were there photos of us two, but also the parts of the wedding that we didn't get to see and Lucy captured our day perfectly.
To top it all off, after a day at work we came home to receive not just a USB of our photographs, but a gorgeous presentation box with a stack of prints wrapped up with token leopard print tape (you'll get the reference once you book with Lucy!).
We are so looking forward to receiving our photographs and we cannot recommend Lucy enough!
