My style of photography is known as documentary, reportage or photojournalism. In a nutshell, it's all about capturing the story of your day in a quiet unobtrusive way. As well as creating a beautiful set of images that document the emotion and details of your day, my approach is all about giving you and your guests space to relax and enjoy the day. A small handful of family groups means formality is dealt with efficiently giving you as much time as possible to spend with your family and friends. There will also be a bit of time put aside for some quiet portraits of the two of you. No big fashion shoots though or cheesy draping around trees or pillars - just very simple images!
Personal service and eco-friendly practices are at the centre of my business. Rather than have fixed packages I offer a more tailored approach to investment so that photography fits with your unique plans and requirements. I have photographed weddings over a handful of hours to full weekend celebrations and everything inbetween. I've given a starting investment guide of £1000 but due to the bespoke nature of my pricing every wedding will be a little different. I don't believe in packages - every wedding is unique and feel so should be pricing !! Some couples want to start their day capturing all of the action in the build up to the ceremony while some prefer to have their privacy at this time and will start photography at their ceremony. Likewise, some want all of the evening action captured whilst for other couples tip toeing away after the speeches is perfect for them.
My base coverage offers photography inclusive of digital files with permission for you to make as many prints as you like. I also offer stunning fine art albums that are handcrafted in Yorkshire.
There are lots of real weddings to enjoy on my website and blog which will give you a great feel for my approach across a full day.
I am based in York and offer coverage across Yorkshire and sometimes beyond.
