I provide wedding photography in Brighton, Sussex, London and the South using a creative and fun approach, to help you feel relaxed whilst being photographed. I'm also more than happy to travel further to any part of the UK and beyond! I like to be very subtle and discreet, capturing things as they happen throughout the day and blending into the wedding itself. I’ll take you away for a few minutes just to get that ‘money’ shot of you both together too, when the light is perfect and using the beautiful surroundings you’ve chosen for your wedding. Everything is very informal and I won’t order you around or pose you like a supermodel. You just do your own thing and enjoy each other’s company; it’s important for me that you feel relaxed and happy in your photographs and everything feels natural. I photograph using natural light wherever possible, but I also use flash and studio lighting where necessary to ensure excellent exposure as well as for capturing shots later in the evening and the first dance. I love amazing light, but I also like working in wet weather. In the event that it does rain we can either do some shots inside or, if you’re happy to brave the elements we can try something really special! I also like wearing suits and dressing up for big occasions, so I’ll always be dressed appropriately for your wedding. I shoot a mixture of reportage and editorial photography, but I’m happy for you to take a creative lead when you want to, and we’ll work together to create images you’ll love that will make you smile for years to come. I don’t mind lining up the family for some more formal shots too and will capture all the details of your big day whilst you spend time with your guests and loved ones. When you look at your photographs when you’re old and grey, or with your children or grandchildren, I want the pictures to remind you what the day looked like, but also remind you how it felt to tie the knot with that special someone.
