As wedding photographers, we all like to think that our work is unique; that we are indispensable. It’s the artist in us that makes us feel this way. In reality, I’m aware that there are other photographers capable of producing work similar in look to my own. So what would persuade you to choose me, Rob Wheal, to document that one, unrepeatable day in your life? I’m a full time, qualified, professional photographer. Being full time I can dedicate the time to your wedding that it deserves. I’m sensitive to the emotions involved. I take the time to learn the names of all the key people on the day; to fit in. It’s always a great compliment when other guests ask me if I’m a friend of the family. I also understand what’s important to you, as I’ve taken the trouble to get to know you before the big day. I always consult with my clients before the event, and the majority of them will also have enjoyed a pre-wedding portrait shoot with me. I record the events of the day with minimum intrusion, and deliver stunning photographs which tell the entire story as it unfolds. I’ll spend most of the day discreetly photographing you and your guests in a documentary style, but there are going to be times when it’s appropriate for me to take the front seat; usually during the formal part – those group photos that have to be taken! I’ll work quickly and creatively to ensure that you have wonderful memories. Mine is a very personal service, both before and after your wedding. If your chosen package includes an album, you will have the option to spend an afternoon with me to help choose the images for this. There’s no pressure, no rush. A huge part of the satisfaction of my job is seeing your response to my work, and it’s really important to me that you are 100% satisfied with your end product.
