I would describe my approach to wedding photography as modern, natural, elegant, mostly reportage style. I like to do classic posed, beautiful shots of the Bride & Groom, as well as stylish, classically composed ‘formal' group shots of family / bridesmaids / groomsmen etc, (whatever the couple wants) as well as all the details and personal touches, but mostly I take lots of natural, candid shots, capturing the guests and everything that goes on, in a discreet, unobtrusive way, so that the images reflect the reality of the day, and the emotions captured are real. I mostly use long lenses, so I can get close up shots from a discreet distance. Having said that, if a client has a particular approach or style they want me to follow, Im very open to that. Im there to serve the Bride and Groom, and to give them images they will love. So if you wanted some quirky or humorous type shots, Im very happy to adopt this style for certain images too. I take around 1500 - 2000 photos, and from these select the very best images, giving the couple around 450 - 550 (sometimes more) exceptional and high quality images. The images are delivered to you on a stylish Walnut USB memory stick, which comes in a Walnut presentation box, engraved with ‘Our Wedding’. Photos are delivered around two weeks after the wedding. All the images are adjusted for optimum brightness, contrast, skin tone etc, to make them look their very best. I’m also skilled with Photoshop and retouching, and am happy to do additional work on up to twenty of your favourite images, at no extra charge, this is part of the package I offer. For example, if you wanted retouching and / or changing certain images to classic high contrast black and white, or a vintage look, or pastel colours, or more vivid colours, things like that. My fee also includes a visit to the Wedding location, ideally with you, to work out the best places for certain key shots.
