With an Independent celebrant, the ceremony is created and written based on your personal beliefs and choices. As the Law of England and Wales is still archaic, independent celebrants are not authorised to do the legal marriage registration, so all of my clients register the legal element a few days earlier. ( In Kent this is currently £46, takes 10 minutes and requires 2 witnesses). However, this means that your ceremony can be held absolutely anywhere, at any time and there are no rules or restrictions on the wording, music choice or content of your wedding ceremony. Karina at Simply Ceremonies will work with you to create your perfect ceremony. This may be as traditional or non-traditional as you want and can include cultural traditions, religious readings or quotes from Lord of the Rings! Karina has been in the wedding industry for a long time and works with lots of other wedding professionals. She has presented ceremonies at many of Kent's top venues including Lympne Castle, Westenhanger castle, Hythe Imperial hotel, The Thatched barn at Farthingloe, The Red barn at Capel Le Ferne, St Augustines Priory, Bilsington and Swarling Manor. Karina is also experienced in outdoors weddings and has created ceremonies for couples who have wanted to use woodland, beaches, fields and back gardens. Karina will also travel if required and has worked at Craig y nos Castle in Wales and the RAF Club in Mayfair, London.
