The Ceremony Company

I set up The Ceremony Company in 2013, having previously worked as a Local Government Registrar and Celebrant for 9 years. I believe couples and families should have a choice of ceremony for their special day. Having listened to what is important to couples during my 9 years with Registration Services - these are the things which they wanted - meeting and choosing their celebrant, having a rehearsal, including their choice of vows, promises, music and readings with no restrictions. Including their story, hopes, beliefs, religion, traditions, personality and humour. As most couples work and can't make midweek 9-5 appointments - so the Ceremony Company was created to include all the above. Whether you live here in the UK or abroad we arrange a mutually convenient date and time to meet you, either face to face or via video call, it is important to listen to all your ideas and to see if we are the right fit for your special day. If you then wish to book, we ask for a deposit to secure your date and celebrant, then we guide you through the process making sure you have a relaxed and memorable day. What is important to you is important to us. Your ceremony can have any content whether it remain traditional or be something different like a Handfasting, Memory Box, Unity Candle, Sand, Flower Bouquet, Blessing style ceremony. We never take a booking without having met you - we encourage you to share all your ideas for your big day. We never say anything which has not been agreed. We arrive in person up to an hour before your ceremony, your ceremony can be held on any date anywhere in the UK (indoors or outdoors) and at any time. We only book one ceremony per celebrant - so if there are any unforeseen time changes these can be easily accommodated.
