Carnarvon Arms

Our son and his fiancé chose to have their wedding reception here, what a great choice, the pub and restaurant are really nicely decorated and set out, the staff are very friendly and it also welcomes dogs (apart from in the actual restaurant). The Manager was really accommodating and helpful. Everyone had a great time and those who stayed the night were impressed with the quality of the rooms. We will most definitely be going back to eat and drink again and will recommend to any friends or family visiting the area.

We came here for our wedding reception, it was amazing!! We really liked the venue when we visited previously. The manager David, was very accommodating, enthusiastic, easy to talk to and full of ideas. This gave us confidence that our day would run very smoothly. We'd eaten here before so we knew the food was excellent. We then had a tasting before the wedding which was also very good, and what impressed us more was that on the day everything was ready, hot and on time. (And there was more than 80 of us!!) The staff were very helpful and lovely, they helped set up the venue, which looked wonderful! We would definitely recommend The Carnarvon Arms to anyone who wants anything from a drink to a meal and staying over - the rooms are lovely and comfortable! We are so impressed and happy, and we will definitely be back!! Thanks to everyone at The Carnarvon Arms!!
