Chilston Park Hotel

The staff couldn't have been more helpful, they saw us through a couple of stressful moments that go hand in hand with planning weddings! They just knew what to do and say (and what not to!) The venue itself is beautiful, there are so many rooms to explore and the outside space was just what we needed for 40 children! We used the Orangery for the service with the guests seated outside, the reception/BBQ was in the 50p lawn with hay bales for the kids and a white bouncy castle, for the evening we went to the Coach/Stable House. The big plus for this venue is 1) the staff, 2) the grounds, 3) accommodation and 4) the flexibility to have an informal wedding with a BBQ, for us with 40 children this last point was essential! I can’t praise Chilston Park enough! We got married in 2015 and still nearly 4 years on it’s talked about by all our family and friends. The setting is so beautiful and the atmosphere when you’re there is just amazing. We had a summer wedding and was blessed with lovely weather which gave us and our guests the best day. The staff go above and beyond to make sure your day is perfect (especially staff member Ellie who may or may not work there anymore but she still sticks in my mind for how brilliant she was), I can honestly say everything went to plan which made our day so stress free. My only wish is that I could do it all over again every year!
