Clearwell Castle Wedding Venue

Our wedding at Clearwell Castle went so smoothly and every detail was perfect! We were blown away by the amount of effort that all the staff put in, making sure that the smallest of requested details was correct. We visited several times in the run up to our wedding and spoke to the team at the Castle frequently, which made it a lot easier to plan and a lot more fun! Our personal wedding manager, Lottie, was amazing. It made me feel so much more confident to know that she was there to keep everything running correctly - and she did an amazing job! The day unfolded so seamlessly, with no stresses or input from us, so we relaxed and enjoyed the day. The food was lovely, can't speak highly enough of that. The downstairs bar and dance floor for the evening do is great, and it's really nice to have a few separate rooms for people who find the disco a bit overwhelming. Good to have the food away from the dance floor in the evening as well! All in all, a simply beautiful day and a wonderful experience. Couldn't recommend more highly!

From the moment we visited Clearwell Castle we knew it was where we wanted to get married. It had everything we could ask for, and more, and nowhere else had ticked every box. Even the drive to the venue was picturesque. The staff were friendly and helpful in the run up to the wedding and when we took family to open days. Ann, our wedding planner, couldn't have been more accommodating, nothing was too much trouble and I completely trusted the day would run smoothly with her leading it. The day was a whirlwind of magic; everything went smoothly, every detail attended to. A truly unforgettable day from the atmosphere, the food which was outstanding and I can not say enough about the team at Clearwell Castle. We wouldn't have changed a thing. All the guests were blown away by what a stunning area and impressive venue and grounds it was and how it was the perfect day and such an amazing venue. We're still talking about it now and will be for a very long time! As we start our life as husband and wife we will be sure to return on dinner dates you run throughout the year.

What can we say? We had the perfect wedding for us. Wonderful venue, great food and brilliant staff. We picked Clearwell Castle as we wanted a venue with exclusive use where we could have the ceremony and reception. From the moment we first walked round, we both knew this was where we wanted to get married. Our wedding organiser, Georgie, couldn’t do enough for us. It really took the stress out of organising the wedding and made the whole process effortless. The castle itself is beautiful as are the grounds. We were so lucky and had unexpected amazing weather on our day. One of the reasons we picked Clearwell is because we didn’t expect the weather to be so lovely in October and wanted somewhere with plenty of room in case we were all stuck indoors. The day went like clockwork, but felt relaxed and not forced. We booked all the rooms in the castle overnight and enjoyed a lovely breakfast with some of our guests the morning after. I would 100% reccomend Clearwell Castle as a brilliant place to have the perfect wedding. They really know what they’re doing and do it so well!

We had the most beautiful day here at Clearwell Castle for our winter wedding.. !! The venue, accommodation, food, service and evening do exceeded all our expections.. !! The accommodation the night before our wedding was lovely also and meant that we could enjoy time with our loved ones, relax and unwind in the hot tub and also meant that there was no stress on the morning because we were already at the venue.. !! Our wedding coordinator and house manager Ann Danter was absolutely incredible pre wedding, during and post wedding ensuring that our day ran smoothly and to order.. !! Thank you again Ann. xxxxx
