The Cherry Barn

I have to thank you again for everything. There are no words to describe how amazing it was. The newly weds have had so many texts and messages saying it was the the best wedding they have ever been too. A lot of this is down to you. You are so cool about everything. Nothing is too much trouble. I am so grateful for your help especially at the end of the night when you were sweeping up after midnight. The flexibility is also so helpful. The bar next to the dance floor means there is no congregating in other rooms. We had a party of a lifetime and is one I will never forget. My Facebook page is filled with photos and videos. You are welcome to friend me to see them. So once again thank you so much. You and Stephen are the coolest couple in town.

I have to say I wasn't 100% 'sold' on a barn wedding but the setting and building was fabulous. Loved the space and the way you can dress the barn to suit your style. Having a 'back room'' with settees and dressing area makes life a lot easier. My ONLY criticism is a little bit of extra light would be useful at the end of the night when carriages arrive so you can work out which taxi company is for who. Would defintely recommend this wedding venue. Nothing was too much trouble for the barns owners. They even lent us a blanket for our grandaughter when she fell asleep during the evening.

Dearest Mel and Steve Thank you so so so much for all your incredible help with the wedding. It’s always hard to envisage everything coming together to create your ‘perfect’ day, but we truly believe that we got everything we wanted and more. Your beautiful venue was the best canvass we could have hoped for, and seeing all the things that we had organised with Dita set up and complimenting the space made us - and our guests - so happy, and the day was a complete success. More importantly, the help and guidance that you both provided leading up to, during and after the day was just so frickin’ wonderful! You made us feel so welcomed and calm - easing the nerves and stress that undoubtably comes with organising such a large and once in a lifetime event. (The highlight was Mel setting her alarm for “Eggs and Blender” - saving the culinary day ?? ) Finding a home for all the left over produce was just another example of the “going out of your way” and aftercare provided - All of which allowed us to enjoy every moment and not stress about wedmin. We wish you all the success in the world with The Cherry Barn as you both truly deserve it and it continues to bring as much joy to the rest of the couples of the world as it did us. Our mini Canadian road trip/ Honeymoon may be over for now but the commitments we made to each other under your stunning barn roof will stay with us forever. Lots of love Will and Claire (Mr&MrsPS)

We just wanted to write to say thank you to you for all you did on Saturday (and before and after) to make Catherine and Mike's wedding day so special. What a wonderful place the Cherry Barn is. We all fell in love with it as soon as we saw it and never had any doubt that it would act as the perfect setting for the wedding reception. Our guests loved it too - so relaxed, so pretty - a perfect setting. But what made it really special was all the care you take to make sure everything runs smoothly - and your love for the barn and your enthusiasm. We so appreciated all those things. We will send a couple of pics through in a day or two, but in the meantime, thank you again. You are the perfect host and it was a true pleasure to meet you.
