Denbies Wine Estate

We are delighted that we chose to host our wedding reception at Denbies. Dawn and the team were so helpful, calm and responsive during the planning process and helped us to create the atmosphere we wanted for our family and friends on our special day. I felt that we were given individual care and attention and that the team worked hard to include all of the little details we wanted without pressuring us into having extras or using particualr suppliers. The amount of space was perfect for us and the venue looks great without much extra decoration. Even though the weather was not on our side there were lots of options for photography and lots of space for everyone to relax. We appreciated how child friendly and accessible everything was. Being able to stay in the hotel before and enjoy their delicious breakfast was a real bonus and the more athletic guests and members of the wedding were able to do a muddy parkrun in the morning before the wedding - great for the nerves I hear. Once we had settled on a venue it became much easier to relax and enjoy planning the day. I am very happy with our choice and look forward to being able to visit in the future.

I just wanted to write a note to say we had the most amazing day yesterday. I'm not actually sure I can put into words how perfect it was - but ill have to try! There is absolutely nothing I would change. It was so much better than I ever imagined it could be (Cheesy but true). The insanely amazing weather helped make it the most gorgeous day. The guests loved the three different venues in one building all in one building and finishing in the cellar for the party was perfect. Everyone loved the train ride and thought it was hilarious all singing the Jurassic park theme tune we got dropped off at the bluebell woods and had a photographs just the two of us on the way back which was such a lovely moment for us. The food was so delicious! Everyone loved the huge portion of Lamb and two of the guests who were vegetarian loved their food. Your staff were amazing, the perfect combination of attentive but relaxed. I felt so happy and calm and it was great how your staff took care of everything. Denbies decorated everywhere perfectly too- I'm sure tackling those pom-pom garlands wasn't an easy task. Rachel was lovely, the service and bar staff on the evening were so sweet and nothing was too much trouble for anyone throughout the day. Thank you so much Dawn the Weddings manager for being so flexible throughout the past 6 months during planning. Dawn made the whole process simple and stress-free, and filled us with confidence throughout. Thanks again!!!!! we would highly recommend anyone wanting to book Denbies. Carly and Matt x

Dear Dawn, I just wanted to thank you and all your staff including Rachel, Sam and Kelly for making our day so special. and for making it go so smoothly. We had such a magical day, I still cant believe its come and gone so quickly. All our guests were saying on the day how well it all flowed. I think everything from the weather, venue, great service, wine and food was just perfect so we cant thank you enough for everyone's hard work!
