Glewstone Court Country House

I just want to say a HUGE thank You for making our Wedding Day! I could not recommend Glewstone Court enough! Myself and Claire had our wedding reception here and I couldn’t possibly say enough to compliment their service! From the pre wedding prep and consultations with Amy to the treatment we received on the day with Sam and the rest of the staff everything was perfect. No request is too much to ask and everything runs so smoothly. The staff will make you feel like you are the only bride and groom they have ever had. We couldn't have asked for any more and the day was faultless, everything was how I imagined it and more and I couldn't get over how beautiful every room was. We have had so many people praise the food and all the staff too. Nothing was too much trouble. I could not give enough compliments. If you are considering getting married in Herefordshire you won’t regret booking Glewstone Court, it really was the best day of our lives.

I urge anyone researching to take a look at this beautiful venue & meet with the family who own it. From the first time we met Amy (wedding co-ordinator) she made sure that our wedding was exactly as we envisaged it, recommending suppliers, giving us tips & keeping in touch with us throughout the planning period. She has the perfect balance of being relaxed about your day but also being so organised that nothing will get forgotten & the day will run smoothly. Every time we visited the venue we were made to feel so welcome & this continued for our wedding weekend. All of our guests commented on how well looked after they were by all the professional staff, nothing was too much trouble & everything was so organised on the day. It was wonderful that we had the venue exclusively for us for the whole weekend, which all our guests loved. We had an intimate wedding of 40 guests with a relaxed style bbq buffet for our wedding breakfast & meat/cheese platters for our evening food. We also sampled their formal dining menu when we ate together as a family on the night before the wedding. The food across the whole weekend was delicious. Finally, the package that we agreed was competitively priced in comparison to other venues we visited in the area. We would highly recommend this venue for a wedding & will definitely be returning for our anniversary.

We got married at Glewstone court in July and we cannot recommend the place enough. From start to finish it was perfect. From the very moment we made contact to view the venue we knew it was the venue for us. Amy and Sam and all the staff were the best and really took the stress out of wedding planning and took charge of the smooth running of the day. Thank you for everything. We were married at Glewstone Court on the 1st June 2019 and had the most amazing day. The venue was fantastic and as it was a wonderfully sunny day we were able to make the most of the stunning grounds. The ceremony room and dining rooms were decorated beautifully. All of the food we had chosen was superb from the canapés to the wedding breakfast. We had lots of compliments on the guest rooms and the bridal suite was enormous, perfect for getting ready the morning of the big day. Everything went as we had hoped for and this was mainly due to the staff doing an amazing job. A special thank you to Sam who went out of his way to make all of the guests feel welcome from the moment of arrival. He was constantly checking on us to make sure we were doing okay and so many of our guests said he was fantastic. So we got married this year at glewstone court and wow it was just amazing!!! I can’t praise the staff and the management enough!!!! They was so helpful and they made us all feel so welcome!!! We had an Alice in wonderland theme and the decor and the view all fitted so well. We got married outside in front of the orchard it was absolutely stunning and talking of stunning the food oh my god was soooo delicious, so many flavours it was Devine!. If your looking for a venue that is welcoming, family friendly and you want to feel at home with being professional this is the place to get married, if I could afford to do it I’d get married here every weekend over and over again! It was really the most magical day ever, thank you glewstone court! Your forever hold a place in mine and Jason’s heart!!!

We had our wedding reception at Glewstone Court on 18th May 2019. We had a large wedding (125 guests all day) and it was absolutely the best day of our lives! We cannot thank Amy, Sam and everyone at Glewstone Court enough for making our wedding day so perfect - turning our vision into reality. Having such a big wedding was daunting, but from the moment we decided to have our wedding at Glewstone Court to the day itself, Amy and the team were thorough, professional and everything went like clockwork. Every detail was thought through and the staff worked incredibly hard to ensure there were no hitches on the day (of which there weren’t). They were extremely good with liaising with our other wedding suppliers, so in the days running up to the wedding we didn’t have anything to worry about. We had our drinks reception in the courtyard and lawns in the surroundings of the beautiful Georgian Manor house, which was immaculate both inside and out, followed by wedding breakfast and disco in the marquee. The food on the day was incredible (canapé A-game as my bridesmaids said!), and feeding 125 people in a marquee could be a challenge, however the staff made this look easy. Service was done efficiently with Sam making sure every table was served to the highest standard. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone thinking of having a large wedding, it really is the most beautiful venue with an incredible team of people. We wish we could do it all again!
