Godwick Hall and Barn

A truly unique 450 year old Grade II listed barn wedding and event venue in Norfolk, combining history and magnificence with a wonderful rural setting. Licensed for wedding ceremonies, so you can hold your whole day at Godwick. Contemporary facilities, posh loos, modern kitchen and reception area with a bespoke bar. A large entertaining space that can seat up to 160. The barn has huge oak beams and high pitched roof which are amazing to look at, but also result in great acoustics for music and entertainment. A “blank canvas” venue that can be tailored to suit your own requirements with plenty of outside space for entertaining, garden games and outside ceremonies. We offer three day hire packages with the wedding on the Saturday or a cheaper midweek option on a Wednesday. Arrive the day before to add your design flair and customise the venue. Party hard on your wedding day, safe in the hands that our experienced team will look after you. Leave the day after once you have dusted off the hangover and cleared your stuff away. We have a a choice of ceremony locations inside the Barn or opt for an outside duo-ceremony. On site we have luxurious accommodation for upto 22 guests at nearby Godwick Hall, with seven fabulously different bedrooms and three Shepherd’s Huts in the Hall grounds. Camping pitches are available at Godwick Great Barn for the wedding night. We offer our own in-house Godwick bar or you can supply your own alchohol with no corkage charge. You can choose your own caterers and we will recommend you a whole host of local suppliers that we know and love and trust at Godwick. Flexibility and a professional and friendly service are our key mantras, so we encourage you to design your own wedding with us on hand to help you along the way. Our wonderful outside spaces and ancient landscape provide a host of stunning photo opportunities. Godwick has never been an ordinary venue. Quirky, eccentric, but always wonderfully glorious.
