Hatfield House

Lucy and I just wanted to drop you a quick message to say a massive THANK YOU to you and everyone at Hatfield House for helping to make our wedding one of the best days of our lives. Ahead of the day, you were great in helping us to think of all the extra bits that we need to think about, and flexible to all our requests. On the day, from start to finish, everything ran perfectly, and we even got the weather we wanted! The venue was set up beautifully, and we had so many comments from our guests of how spectacular it looked. On the day, the team were attentive, and there exactly when you needed them - a special shout out to Chris too - who was absolutely fantastic. He even offered to come back to the venue on the Tuesday - his day off - so we could pick up items from the venue.

I just wanted to let you know that our wedding day went absolutely beautifully on Saturday. The staff were fantastic and made everything so easy. The palace looked stunning. Thank you for getting the lights on the tables. The feedback from all the guests has been remarkable. Many have said it was the nicest wedding they've ever attended - due to the venue and the way it was run. The children had a great time exploring everywhere, and of course the lovely weather helped as they could play outside. So a big thank you from us again for all your help and for making our day so special.

The wedding day was just wonderful thank you and the months of planning were well rewarded. If some of the guests got very wet leaving the celebration then they left too early because when we strolled over to Lawn House just before 1am it was clear and dry! We called it a day at our after party a few hours later feeling delighted that the day had gone so well. The Bride and Groom were smiling from dawn to the next dawn! November was always going to be a risk weather wise but apart from being unable to stroll around the gardens it hardly seemed to feature at all. The room was just delightful and I have to say that Kate was fantastic, in fact all of her team were. The food - from canapés to wedding breakfast to hog roast to cheese and cake - was all that we had hoped for. All of course under your direction! Thank you so much.

We just want to say a big thank you to all of you who helped make our wedding an amazing day. Alice- please can you particularly thank George, the chef and the catering team. The food was delicious, the team who served were very professional, everything went smoothly. George and Susan (I hope I got her name right) were absolutely incredible! They really looked after us and went out of their way to make sure the day went as we wanted it to go. Many of our guests commented on how lovely Hatfield House was. Thank you so much! It really was a special day thanks to all your hard work.

We really mean it when we say that you have made our dream wedding come true, the place was magical, everyone was so impressed and kept telling me all night!

We were absolutely blown away by the service we received from the team at Hatfield House, both in the months leading up to our wedding and on the day itself. All of our guests, many of whom had flown in from around the world, complimented us on the beautiful and unique historical venue. Alice and the team at Hatfield House provided invaluable advice to ensure that the day's events were seamless. Our humanist ceremony on the lawns behind the Old Palace was a real highlight and truly romantic. We moved around all parts of the venue to ensure the day never felt too long - from the prosecco reception on the lawns to our Wedding Breakfast in the Old Palace followed by a tea break in the Riding School and more dancing in the Old Palace! The team on the day were extremely professional and guided us to the private gardens for family photos. Alice was our main point of contact in the year leading up to the wedding. She was extremely invested in making our day memorable, meeting us for site visits on multiple occasions and treating us with the care of a friend. She always made us feel as though we were her only clients and her friendliness and expertise in the events space showed throughout. All our suppliers commented on how talented she is as well as easy to talk to. I can't thank Alice enough for making our day a success. I spent many summers as a child visiting Hatfield House and could not imagine a more special venue to get married in. Looking forward to visiting again next summer and reliving our amazing day!
