Healds Hall Hotel

We held our Wedding Ceremony, Reception and Evening Reception at this hotel last week and it could not have been a better choice. The attention to detail provided by Matt and the whole Healds Hall team excelled our expectations and then some! Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. We had a wonderful day, the food was excellent, our room (111) was big, nice and light which is good for bridal makeup and hair doing. I would not hesitate for a moment to recommend Healds Hall Hotel for any occasion it's a gem of a place.

We had our wedding reception at Healds Hall and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Matthew and the rest of the team were brilliant, taking care of every little detail. The room for the reception looked stunning and the layout helped create a fantastic, cozy atmosphere for our family & friends. As always at Healds Hall, the food was amazing, and we received lots of comments from guests that it was some of the best food they’d ever had at a wedding, the roast beef in particular was fantastic, so tender. All in all we couldn’t have asked for a better venue and just want to say thank you to all the staff for helping make our special day so perfect!

This venue is fabulous. We recently got married here and from early planning stages right through to the day we were given loads of support and valuable advice regarding our day. The food in the restaurant is to die for! The rooms are very comfortable and modern while retaining the feel of the architecture and age of the building. Matt and his team could not have done anything more for us our entire stay and day. He even put my shoes on for me, before the ceremony! We would highly recommend Healds Hall for an event, wedding or any kind of stay. You will be made vey welcome and the staff will give you service second to none.

We recently got married at Healds Hall Hotel. The whole day was absolutely PERFECT. Matt the events manager and Andrew the chef went above and beyond to meet our requirements. Healds Hall is much better venue than these over priced well known wedding venues throughout Yorkshire. The food was incredible and by far one of the best restaurants outside of Leeds city centre. All guests commented on how good the food was throughout the day. They easily accommodated for 1 vegetarian and 1 child. The wedding package we booked included chip and bacon butties for the evening meal, something me and my husband were not keen on. We asked if they would be able to do pizzas instead...without hesitation Andrew organised for a pizza oven to be set up in the gardens of the hotel and allowed us to create or own evening menu. The quality of the food and service of all staff members is the reason we booked the biggest day of our life to be held here. Matt was on hand for every step of the planning process and his communication was exceptional. Nothing was ever too much and I felt comfortable asking the silliest questions. Matt was a real support for me on the day too I was so nervous but Matt kept me calm and grounded - a real personal touch. Again not something you may receive at other venues. Matt is very passionate about his role and always supported our requests. His overall input was invaluable. If you are getting married, have a family event coming up or simply just want good service and a nice meal at the right price, I would strongly recommend Healds Hall Hotel.

Wow, what can we say... like all couples we had our pre wedding nerves. We knew the hotel was lovely, the surroundings were great for photos and the hotel staff were fantastic. We even knew the food was amazing but all our expectations were not only met but totally excelled. On the day our nerves were eased with the expert organisation from our wedding coordinator Matthew, his attention to detail was wonderful, he even noticed when the wife was hot and flustered and appeared as if from nowhere with a fan to cool her down and a friendly reassuring smile. Walking around these grounds you definitely get the feeling of an old traditional English Heritage estate, but been a family owned hotel it comes with a real warm personal touch. If you're thinking about getting married please do not hesitate to contact Healds Hall. My self and my partner got married here on the 21-6-19 . The place its self is a real gem lovely inside and out. Matthew the wedding coordinator never stopped all day nothing was too much for him and all the lovely staff at the hotel. The wedding ran like clockwork. From ceremony to wedding breakfast then evening doo the transition from each part was brilliant nobody was bored and it gave people time to mingle. The food was first class absolutely amazing. The rooms were lovely. All in all was a wonderful day/evening And on behalf of my wife and I we would like to thank you for making our bid day wonderful and unforgettable
