Holmwood is a magnificent family home set amongst several hectares of stunning grounds.
Located in the Southside of the city, it’s masterfully designed and surprisingly opulent. Alexander ‘Greek’ Thomson designed the house for paper magnate James Couper and his wife in 1857, and it’s widely regarded as the Scottish architect’s finest domestic creation. His stunning design legacy impresses at every turn, and the house provides an exceptional setting for intimate wedding ceremonies and receptions. Outside the stunning grounds lend themselves to marquee hire for up to 250 guests.
