Set in 574 acres of landscaped parkland, Hylands House boasts lavish, lovingly restored, ceremony & reception rooms, set to stun your guests together with its breath-taking views of the Essex countryside. The venue is filled with endless photo opportunities both inside the restored mansion house as well as the picturesque Pleasure Gardens. Host your ceremony for up to 100 guests within the ornate ceremony rooms of Hylands House and up to 300 guests for your seated meal and reception inside the contemporary Grand Pavilion. You also have the option to host a religious ceremony for up to 300 guests within the Grand Pavilion. For more intimate weddings, host your ceremony & seated meal for up to 80 guests within Hylands House and up to 120 guests for your evening reception. Hylands House and Grand Pavilion operates as a dry hire venue, providing you with the celebration spaces and furniture. This allows you the flexibility to choose your own contractors, including your own caterer, decorators and entertainment allowing you to create your own bespoke wedding. You may supply your own drinks, corkage free and operate from our bar using your designated contractor.
