King Arthur Hotel

We had our wedding in the King Arthur in February. Despite it being an absolutely horrific day weather wise with Storm Dennis making an appearance we had the absolute best day!! Everything was perfect from the stay over the bridal party had the night before to the final dance we danced at 1am to breakfast the following morning! The staff were extremely happy and nothing was too much trouble. The food was absolutely out of this world! The biggest thanks to Rhian, our wedding coordinator who went above and beyond not only on the wedding day but all of the times we met and email before also. I don't think the day would have run so smoothly without her. I would highly recommend the King Arthur to anyone thinking of getting married and we can't wait to visit again soon.

I don't even know where to start with this review.. We had our wedding day and night at the king arthur yesterday after booking it about 18 months ago. I cannot put into words how perfect our day was. Our wedding coordinator was Rhian and I've never felt so comfortable leaving the biggest day of my life in her hands. Rhian was so knowledgable about every single detail, the timings, calming us all, chasing up suppliers, and even phoning the DJ to see if he could come a little earlier as we were ahead of time. Thank you so much Rhian! You are amazing! The venue is unbelievable. The log fires, rustic beams and pontoon lights are all the perfect touches to such a beautiful place. The bedrooms were all lovely sized, comfy beds and all immaculate. We had a meal the night before the wedding, canapes and Fish and chips at our evening reception. Beautiful. The Pork dinner we all had for our wedding breakfast was out of this world. I could go on for days, I honestly couldn't recommend a better place for a get together, weekend break or even a wedding! Thank you to every single staff member involved, all always with a smile on their faces Mr & Mrs Jenkins x

We got married here on the 14th December and it was just the most amazing day ever! The venue was absolutely faultless! Laura was our wedding planner and from the get go she was amazing! Everything was so organised and the day ran smoothly. We had our ceremony here and the turn around for the wedding breakfast was again, faultless!! The food was outstanding - every single guest said how yummy it was. (Massive thank you to the chef!!) The venue was decorated exactly how I had imagined it. The staff couldn’t of been any more attentive. I’ve lost count of the amount of guests that have said how beautiful the venue was or how amazing the day was. Some are even looking to book a weekend away here!! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to Laura and the King Arthur crew for being so amazing!!! It’s a day we will never forget! I couldn’t recommend this place anymore ♥️🥂

The staff are the nicest in the business, you’ll be looked after and made to feel at home. As a wedding venue it’s outstanding, beautifully presented (and great for photographs) and the food is fabulous. Did i mention the staff are amazing ?

Had my daughters wedding here on Friday and what a fantastic day it was. The staff were amazing and so friendly, obliging and efficient. The food was simply stunning and everyone has commented on how much they enjoyed it. The Venue was perfect in every way with both inside and outside were spotless. The day went perfectly and the running, arranging etc by Annelise was spot on. She ran the whole day perfectly and was a credit to the King Arthur! Even the most contrary family members are still singing the praises of all aspects of the day. A huge thank you to all the waiting, catering, bar and cleaning staff and an even bigger one to Annelise who did a job well done. Cannot recommend The King Arthur highly enough if planning a wedding, we certainly weren’t disappointed ���

Myself and my husband had our wedding day at the King Arthur in 2016 and it was the most wonderful day. Carly our wedding planner was amazing from the start and helped make our day even more special. If anything did go wrong on the day we didn’t know about it as it went without any problems at all. The venue and the grounds itself are beautiful, and lent itself to a calm, relaxed and seamless day. We had a large guest list of 120 and the KA accommodated us with ease with many guests saying the food was the best wedding food they have ever had. The accommodation was wonderful with the bridal suite beautiful. We had the most amazing day and would love to be able to do it all again. I would recommend the KA and the staff there to everyone looking to get married in the area.
