Longlands Inn and Restaurant

The Longlands is our local that we love very much and can never fault. We accidentally stumbled on their wedding fair and instantly fell in love. Katie, Ross and the team made everything truly amazing and made us feel so at ease from day 1. If we didn't think of anything, they did. Our day was so perfect and not only were we looked after so well, so was all of our family for their stays over the weekend. Us and our family hold a special place for The Longlands. They work so hard to ensure everything is personal and special for every couple that get married here. We had a perfect wedding day here at The Longlands on Saturday! From the first moment we met up with Katie she made us feel at ease. We knew she had an eye for detail that would ensure our day was exactly how we wanted. We would like to say a huge thank you to the whole team for ensuring the day ran smoothly, the room was set up beautifully and the food was amazing! My granddaughter got married, and had the reception at The Longlands Inn. The annexe where they were married was beautiful, light an airy. Could not fault the food, and the staff were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble

I photograph weddings all over Lancashire and Cumbria, at all sorts of venues, but Longlands is a real favourite. Great setting, superb photo opportunities by the canal, good outdoor space, the ceremony room is wide and has light from the front right corner (which makes a big difference to me...) and the staff are professional and happy. Katie is one of the best wedding co-ordinators I know. She is focused and has an eye for detail that ensures every wedding goes to plan and that everyone has a great time.

Katie and her wonderful wedding team are truly amazing. Nothing is too much trouble and they go above and beyond to make sure your special is extra special. 5 stars for a 5 star team!
