Macdonald Alveston Manor

We had our wedding on November 25th. We arrived at venue the day before from the moment we walked in the staff couldn’t do enough for us. The morning of the wedding they brought breakfast to our room lovely touch we didn’t feel rushed at all. All my bridesmaid and mother of the bride were escorted to my room to get ready. Every step of the day I was made to feel special. The room we married in looked amazing so beautifully decorated and everything where is said I wanted it. Food was amazing guests were very impressed. Couldn’t recommend the venue or Jen my wedding planner enough.

We fell in love with this place the moment we set foot in it and it didn’t take long before we realised how friendly, attentive and lovely the staff were, it was then when we knew this was where we wanted to celebrate our special day. To top it all off, our wedding planner was nothing short of amazing - due to the care and dedication she put into planning every detail alongside us! Long story short, having our wedding reception at Macdonald Alveston Manor was the best choice we could have ever made. The staff not only were extremely helpful, but also they went the extra mile and out of their way to make sure our wedding day ran smoothly.. it was the perfect day!

We’ve found Alveston manor to be incredibly flexible whilst we plan our wedding. Throughout the first lockdown the head office managed our wedding and had the details we’d discussed with Katie which made things so easy to pick up. Katie is a pleasure to work with. She’s prompt at replying and does all she can to fit our plans in. We can’t wait to finally have our reception at Alveston Manor in September!

From our initial enquiry and throughout the whole process Kate was excellent in all aspects of her role, she was always quick to respond to any enquiries and supported us throughout, we could not have had such an amazing day without Kate, she is a credit to the Hotel. On the day, all team members were outstanding and the food was amazing, all our guests commented on how delicious it all was! We would highly recommend Alveston Manor.

The hotel staff were professional and supportive both on our wedding day and the lead up to the day. Nothing was to much trouble and they made our whole day run so smoothly.

Our wedding at Alveston Manor was perfect, lovely venue, super food and really friendly staff. Our excellent wedding coordinator ensured everything ran smoothly throughout.
