New Hall Hotel & Spa

Hi Charlotte, I hope this email finds you well. We recently had our wedding at the New Hall Hotel and Spa. All of the staff at the hotel were amazing, helping to make the day very special. We had members of your staff such as Julian helping with translations to non-english speaking guests, we had the night porter talking people through the history of the chamber at who knows what time in the morning and Hermione was a constant reassuring presence ensuring everything ran smoothly. I have no doubt that given the opportunity the other members of staff would have gone over and above too. However an individual that stood out from our first moment in the Hotel was Laura. We had seen a few different venues all of a similar type and style. However, after meeting with Laura we both unanimously had decided that we would pick new hall, purely because of the impression Laura had left on us. Laura is clearly very passionate about what she does and is a true asset to Hand Picked Hotels. She was a pleasure to work with throughout the process. She is clearly very methodical and structured in the way she works. But, she does all of this with an ability to maintain a friendly and personalised touch that your brand clearly prides itself on. Dear Laura Thanks for your email, we had a wonderful day as did all our guests. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole planning process as well, you strike an excellent balance between fun and scarily efficient! I would say two particularly helpful points were the very thorough and regular questioning that guided us through the process, and your open day introduction to recommended suppliers - they were all superb! Thanks so much to you and charlotte and the team for putting such an amazing experience together for us. People kept commenting how chilled out I seemed - but of course I knew everything was under control so there was no need to stress! I would also just like to add that there is a great friendly atmosphere and attention to detail that is consistent throughout all your staff from the spa to the restaurant and reception - it is noticeable and much appreciated. Me and Rhys just wanted to say how much a fantastic day we had yesterday! It all went better than we imagined and everything was perfect. Matt was soo incredibly helpful throughout and was very attentive so please pass our thanks on to him aswell.

Hello, I am writing this email on behalf of my husband and I who got married on Fri 2nd August. From the minute we booked our wedding with you everything has been just fantastic. Laura is very well organised and ensured every detail was discussed and our meetings with her helped to put my mind at ease as I knew we were in good hands. Then to the day.......the only word I can use to describe it is ‘perfect’. Everything just ran so smoothly from the moment we arrived. The food was absolutely delicious (we have had many compliments from our guests) huge thank you to the chef. In terms of the staff on the day- all we can say is a huge ‘Thank you’. Everyone we encountered were so friendly and polite and were very professional at the same time. We wanted to give a special mention to Matt who ensured everything ran smoothly and he was very attentive to detail. The wedding breakfast was very well organised and meant that the atmosphere was relaxed with everyone enjoying themselves. We also stayed an extra evening and booked in for a meal in the restaurant. Again our waiter was brilliant and the food was fantastic. When returning to our room we were pleasantly surprised to find our bed had been remade, water was each side of the bed, music had been put on a channel on the tv and the curtains had been closed for us. Another lovely thought. Oh and we love our teddy that we get to keep with the personalised jumper! As you can probably tell I could continue writing as there were just so many things that just made our day so special. So much so that when it was time to leave yesterday I became very emotional and shared a few tears however they were definitely tears of happiness. So from the bottom of our hearts we just want to thank you for making our day everything we could have wished for and more. If this email could be shared with all staff involved that would be great!
