Welcome to our Durham Suite and Old Barn. Both Facilities are separate stand alone venues independent of each other. Our packages are the same in both venues. Opportunity for stunning photos in each venue with private photographic areas. Both areas are operated with their own independent team of staff. So please take a look and contact our Bridal Team to arrange a private viewing. Our Durham Suite has been hosting weddings for over four years and was converted from an old, stone built stable block. This venue is attached to the main hotel and surrounded by our courtyard bedrooms all on the ground floor providing easy access for all guests. The Durham Suite has its own designated car park and stunning private gardens for photos which include: The Orchard and the Duck Pond. Our rustic country venue is capable of hosting civil ceremonies in our beautiful Chapel style Tanfield Suite from 25-150. Guests can have beverages in the private Cobbles bar before walking in to the main Durham suite area swathed in natural foliage and festoon lighting which brings a warm, country feel to enhance your dream day. The Old Barn is a completely separate building to the Inn and has its own designated car park area, a stunning garden area overlooking the beautiful Beamish Valley, a delightful seating area for guests and private area to host outdoor ceremonies. Inside ‘The Old Barn’ there is a purpose built area for wedding ceremonies which can seat from 50 to 200 guests. Guests can have beverages in the beautiful bar area, before walking into our main room, dressed splendidly with old features, original timbers, wooden floors all creating a magical space. Bride and Groom will have a bespoke bridal suite and brides staying overnight the evening before the wedding will have their own executive wedding transport provided by The Inn to take them from their room to the venue, unseen by guests!
