Swinton Park

We visited Swinton at one of their open days and we fell in love with the estate. This is a beautiful place and exactly what we hoped to have for our winter wedding. It’s such a shame the customer service we experienced has been so poor. We were told the quote would take a couple of days, which we advised we appreciated as our wedding was just shy of a year away! Took almost two weeks for the quote to be provided and that’s after we chased 5 times. Each time we were given a different excuse as to the whereabouts of the wedding co-ordinator ‘she’s on holiday/in a meeting/ unavailable’. When the quote arrived it didn’t have the added extras we had discussed and we again had to go back to them. Several days later and with now 11 months to go to our wedding, we again called Swinton. On 26/11 we received a reply from ‘Helen’ who appears to be a revenue manager. She answered our questions and apologised for the poor service. It’s now been three weeks and no one has followed up to see if we want to book with them. Given the delays with Swinton, we have now had to push our wedding date back to look for an alternative venue. We just can’t trust them if this is the service before we hand over our deposit! Very very poor service and can not recommend for any couple looking for a venue.

It was dream beautiful place to marry, garden in May is unforgettable, lake and deer,lots of deer... Spa was a bonus, staff was very helpful.... Team who organised it was not good, price was changing, menu was changed 3 times, they wasnt there for late afternoon, paste wrong information... if you like hastle free choose different venue
