The County Arms

We had our wedding reception at the County Arms in June and we cannot compliment the team enough. The whole thing was seamless. The events team took all stress out of the organisation and were so well-organised and helpful. The room is lovely and with the outside terrace included as well, it was the perfect setting for a summer wedding. We wanted a venue that was relaxed, friendly and helpful, and we got exactly what we wanted.

As soon as I saw the Beldevere Room at the County Arms, I knew it would be perfect as our wedding reception. The pub is a really lovely looking and the room is beautifully designed with a private area in the garden. It was exactly what we were looking for. John and Lina were brilliant at helping to organise the day by replying quickly to emails and making suggestions. Every other staff member we met at the pub was friendly too. Guests commented on how nice the food was and how relaxed and fun the day was. It was a perfect day for us. Thank you to all the staff for making it happen.

We booked the County Arms pub venue for our wedding day. They helped with our big day from getting married there, having our Buddhist blessing, amazing food and providing us with our own garden area. The whole day was organised by the team where they helped with everything down to the flowers, balloons, table plans etc... which really helped me and my new wife out tremendously ! We would recommend this as a great place to enjoy any event and we will be using them again very soon.

My husband and I had our wedding at the County Arms in March; there were a few changes in the events team during our planning, but the team (special shout out to John and Andrew) really did a fantastic job! They were accommodating with deliveries & communicative, really gave us confidence that our big day would go without a hitch, and it absolutely did. Everyone commented on how great the venue was, and how attentive the staff were - they were with us every step of the way and visible throughout the day. And the food was brilliant - we went for the BBQ buffet 'family style', everyone loved it.
