The Devonshire Fell

What really sold The Devonshire Fell to us originally was the unspoilt amazing views and the fact it's an exclusive venue that you can really make your own. What we didn't anticipate is the incredible service from Hannah, and the team who made the whole experience much more calm, bespoke and so special, we also didn't anticipate the food served on the big day to be so top level (our guests still go on about that sticky toffee pud now!), the hotel itself and the great space to party in until late! What an amazing venue, don't hesitate - you won't regret booking it!

My wife and I held our wedding celebrations at the Devonshire Fell in October 2019. We opted for the 2 night Devonshire package. The ceremony was held at Bolton Abbey Priory. The hotel and area has always been a special place to us both, and the setting of the Fell is exceptional! From the first initial meeting with Hannah we knew this was the venue for us. Hannah was the right balance of friendly and professional throughout all the planning, and dealt with any issues promptly - without her I feel the whole process would have been much more stressful for us both. Once the big weekend arrived the whole staff at the Devonshire Fell were amazing, from the moment we arrived (‘Relax, we do a lot of weddings, don’t worry about a thing’) right through to check out. Everything went perfectly, and we couldn’t have asked for a more special day - It really was the best day of our lives. We can highly recommend the Devonshire Fell to host your wedding. It’s a great venue, which is exclusive to you and your guests making the day more intimate. The staff could not do enough to help us, our guests or the dogs. Everyone loved it! Dear Hannah, We are writing to thank you and your team for the marvellous service you provided last weekend for the wedding of our daughter Zoe to Karl Pearman. Your organisation over many months was first class and the guests were very impressed by the hotel, food and tremendous hard work by all the staff. We have always loved the Fell and the Devonshire Arms and look forward to returning early next year. The whole weekend was one of the most enjoyable we have ever had and provided Zoe and Karl with a wonderful lasting memory for the rest of their lives. We had our wedding reception at The Fell in early September and it was absolutely perfect. The Fell was the first venue we looked at and instantly knew it was the right place for us - the beautiful scenic location coupled with a lovely chilled out atmosphere was exactly what we wanted so we reserved a date straight away! Our wedding planner Jessica was friendly and informative without being pushy and continued throughout our year of planning as being a great planner with nothing too much trouble for her. On the day, Nickki was absolutely fantastic, very attentive and genuinely seemed happy to be working and part of our special day. The menu we chose was still as tasty as when we had picked it on our tasting day and our guests thoroughly enjoyed all 3 courses. We woke up to gorgeous views from our suite and were greeted by staff for breakfast joined by our guests. We’ve had lots of remarks from our guests how much they had enjoyed the wedding and were equally in love with The Fell and it’s atmosphere. A massive thank you to all the staff involved in making our day so special and perfect!

Myself and my husband had our wedding reception here on 6th September 2019. Hannah our wedding co-ordinator was fantastic meeting up with us on a regular basis and answering our questions and if she didn’t know the answer at the time she would email us it that day or the day after. Hannah was also very organised and friendly which put us at ease immediately. On the wedding day, the team were fantastic. So calm, professional and welcoming. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to have our reception and we had the best day of our lives thanks to the Devonshire Fell and Team. We are so glad we chose your hotel and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to have their wedding here or just wanting to stay, you will have the most amazing time and receive the most amazing service. I want to express my sincere thanks to the staff at the Devonshire Fell for making our wedding the most wonderful day anyone could wish for. The hotel and gardens looked beautiful and everything was organised to perfection. Our guests were extremely well looked after and I have been flooded with compliments from them. The team could not do enough for us and it was clear they cared deeply that our Wedding Day was very special. Truly the best day of my life! Cannot praise highly enough.
