We had excellent communication from start to finish. Every member of staff I spoke to was so friendly and helpful. An absolute pleasure to work with. All our guests complimented the menus we had chosen. The food was exquisite. We had a tasting menu and felt really well looked after. The manor was the deciding factor in booking this venue, as well as the interior of the great hall. We loved our experience from start to finish, wouldn't change a thing.

The staff at mains couldn't do enough for us, they were really helpful and made us feel at ease with everything, we had full confidence that our day would run smoothly, and it did we had a perfect day. Thank you. The size of the house impressed us the most, it was everything that impressed us and more so the history of the mains hall manor, we loved that it still kept its character but with a sensitive modern living upgrade was just perfectly done. The service was amazing we cannot fault anything. The staff are a credit to you.

We were searching for wedding venues online and it came up in a google search - then we remembered seeing a brochure years ago for it. We went to an open day, had a couple of walk-arounds and fell in love. We also have had friends who have held weddings there and they spoke very highly of the venue and the staff. Stacey and Mel were extremely helpful in the run up. Their professional attitude and abilities were superb. They were always smiling and could not do enough to help us. They were receptive to our ideas and offered help and suggestions when necessary. Mel and Stacey made all our planing an absolute breeze. The proximity of the house important, but also the exclusivity of the it and the ability to provide rooms for the bridal party. The self-catering nature allowed an informal setting for the morning after the wedding and the decor was superb - a perfect blend of modern and history. The separation of the bridal suite from the rest of the house was also appreciated and really made us feel special on the wedding night. The Great Hall far surpassed our high expectations - the staff went above and beyond to ensure that the day ran smoothly and the grounds and accommodation were impeccable. After an uneasy communication, our first face-to-face meeting went swimmingly and the service only improved each time we met up.

You had been recommended by a friend who has been to a wedding at the great hall the previous year. I couldn’t be happier with the help and communication from all the staff at the great hall. We had a few meetings with various people at the beginning but nearer the end Mel and Hayley were fantastic! Friendly and always happy to help with any questions. The proximity of the house to the venue impressed us the most, the venue and gardens are beautiful. The Manor House was an experience in itself and the cost was very reasonable. I couldn’t be happier with the way our wedding was organised from the first point of contact to our farewell the day after. Everybody was fantastic and very accommodating. Thank you so much for making our day so special. It’s a day I will never forget and I am truly thankful to all the staff for that

It offered us the best value, and ultimately everything we needed for our big day. The event organisers were great from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble and communication was fantastic, which was really important to us. Our day was perfect. The bar staff were attentive and provided a great service to both us and our guests. It was the whole package, the fact that it was exclusive hire, the beautiful grounds, the historic aspect and the use of Mains Hall Manor house, which was stunning.
