The Historic Dockyard Chatham Full Description
The Commissioner’s House, Britain’s oldest naval building in use today is complete with stunning Georgian architecture and its very own gorgeous landscaped garden. The house has spaces for both ceremony and reception. Or perhaps opt for getting married on-board HMS Gannet; a magnificent 3-masted Victorian Sloop. The Commissioner’s House offers gorgeous spaces exclusively for your ceremony and reception. Included in the package price is the Commissioner’s House garden, the perfect setting for after ceremony drinks and photographs. A Victorian Sloop in the centre of the world’s most complete Dockyard of the Age of Sail. This venue makes a unique setting for your ceremony. Combine this with either drinks on board or your party can make their way to The Commissioner’s House to enjoy the rest of your day. All weddings are bespoke, from an intimate wedding in one of the private dining rooms, to a wedding breakfast for 120 people in the garden marquee. The special touches we provide with each wedding means no two are the same. Immaculate detail and pure care come across as you and your partner venture into the future.
