The Hurt Arms Ambergate

Where do we start???!!!!! Thank you soooooo much for the most amazing job you and all the staff at The Hurt Arms did for us last night. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect night. The room looked superb, the food was to die for, the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and you made sure everything ran smoothly and we can’t thank you enough for that. The comments we’ve had from everyone is just fantastic. They all just loved everything. Please pass this on to all who worked last night and tell them they all deserve a massive pat on the back. I hope our paths cross again at some point but please just accept a huge thank you from Martin and I.

Myself and my husband had our wedding reception here on 2/6/18. We both couldn't have been happier with the service. The staff are friendly and can't do enough for you, which is exactly what you need on your wedding day! Nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was amazing, we had a BBQ which was served outside as the weather was lovely and warm, and some extra nibbles brought out in the evening which were served from the lovely horsebox. Everyone commented on how nice the food and venue was. As you can imagine everything doesn't always run on time, however Millie ( the wedding coordinator) made everything run perfectly and pushed timings forward with the food, speeches and our first dance, it was so refreshing to not have to worry about these things and let her manage them, and she did a fantastic job we couldn't praise or thank her enough. I stayed at the hotel the night before the wedding with one of my bridesmaids and my flower girl, Shannon (wedding coordinator) made it possible for my niece to stay with me by arranging an extra single bed to be brought into the room for her at no extra cost, she also helped me set up the tollgate suite ready for the next day. We all got breakfast in the morning included which was lovely and very filling. The cleaners were more than happy to help the morning of the wedding by quickly removing the extra bed to allow my bridesmaids to all get ready with me, and bringing us jugs of water when we didn't request them. The whole team work so well together to make your day so special! As you can imagine 6 bridesmaids a flower girl and the bride all getting ready in one room can cause quite a bit of mayhem. When we got back to the room after the wedding it was spotless again. They truly did an amazing job right down to the little details! Myself and my husband are so happy we had our wedding reception here! The whole team made the experience so memorable.
