Located in the picturesque town of Bruton, The Longhouse is a beautiful Somerset wedding venue. The Longhouse is stylish, contemporary and unique with incredible views overlooking landscaped gardens, the Brue valley and gorgeous Somerset countryside beyond. We can cater for up to 140 guests during the day and 200 in the evening. There are lots of reasons to choose the Longhouse for your wedding and the views are just one of them! With no corkage fee, a complimentary Bridal suite and three characterful locations to choose from for your ceremony we are confident that we are the perfect place for your perfect day. We can also provide bed & breakfast for up to 55 guests with our onsite accommodation.

Hello! My family have owned Trendle Farm (where the Longhouse is located) since 1984. I returned to Somerset and the family business in 2004 with one of my first jobs building the Longhouse. I married Flora in October 2005 and we had a wonderful reception in the Longhouse and thought other couples might also enjoy what my family have created! We believe in a personal, unique and transparent service with a beautiful venue and a strong environmental ethos.
