The Moat House is a picturesque wedding venue in the heart of the English countryside.
From our 16th century Farmhouse and iconic horse chestnut tree, quaint canal bridges to our snowdrop and bluebell carpeted woodland. The Moat House has never been short of beautiful backdrops for your most treasured photographs. Beyond the landscaped gardens, our lakes and the canal, there are fields and country lanes on our doorstep for you to explore.
When you choose The Moat House, you’ll have the freedom to plan your day the way you want it. Your experienced wedding concierge is there to advise and make sure you’re not overwhelmed by choice, while tailoring your wedding to you as a couple. If you would like The Moat House to be exclusively yours on your wedding day, all you have to do is ask. This includes use of all 40 bedrooms as well as the Wedding Suite, providing overnight accommodation for you and up to 92 guests. The venue will be all yours from 11am on the day of your wedding until 11am the following day.
