The Oakwood at Ryther is a brand-new wedding venue in the heart of the Yorkshire Countryside. Once a generations old family farm, Oakwood has been lovingly and stylistically transformed into a breathtaking venue and the perfect place to celebrate your special day. Offering two stunning barns and luxury accommodation for up to 32 people, and beautiful landscaped grounds, every element of Oakwood has been specifically designed with your wedding in mind. The venue is exclusively yours for the whole weekend, giving you a full day to set up the venue, a second day for your wedding and a third day to relax after all the celebrations! The Old Grain Store’s original wooden beams and exposed brick work have been carefully restored and now sit effortlessly with the contemporary luxe styling inside. Soft ceiling drapes are accentuated by statement chandeliers, adding modern elegance to the building’s rustic character. The grand central staircase, combining natural wood and sleek glass panels, leads to a luxurious cocktail lounge, overlooking the bar and the dance floor. A state-of-the-art speaker system promises the perfect soundtrack to your day, and the large granite topped bar ensures your guests will always have a drink in hand. The Ceremony Hall is a breathtakingly grand space, featuring huge whalebone oak arches and a traditional York stone floor, (and most importantly, a Prosecco bar!) The Ceremony Hall’s church-like setting is the perfect place to say ‘I Do’. Just across the courtyard from the Old Grain Store and the Ceremony Hall sits the Accommodation Barn. Sleeping up to 32 people, in 15 bedrooms, the accommodation also boasts a huge open plan kitchen, dining area and living space within a beautiful glass and oak double height extension. Modern luxury meets country chic and creates a wonderful space to enjoy time with family and friends over your special weekend.
