The Orchard

The Venue is stunning both in setting and the actual venue. The supplier list is much bigger than when we booked however it was hard enough to choose from the amazing suppliers that were available when we booked 3 years ago. We sat down with Annie who was so understanding and personable we were sold on the 1st visit. She is truly one in a million However all the packages were well out of our budget. Annie was able to bespoke us a package to fit our budget without it feeling cheap or us feeling as if we were 2nd class. She knows people and always through the process has her couples at heart and the forefront. She took the time to get to know us and we never had to question anything - she interpreted what we wanted and made the suggestions that we would never have thought of to make sure it was our special day - a true planner as opposed to just organising what we the couple thought we wanted. We were a little unfortunate in that part way through the 3 years the venue changed totally as did the packages, we were handed over to Jess as our planner and didn't really have much further contact with Annie. The initial meetings were a little awkward - I think from both sides it's never going to be easy taking over so far through. Jess is different to Annie and I think it took a while for us all to adjust to each other. I won't lie that there were times we were a little worried, However all that said when we got down to the final meetings it was clear that the day would run like clockwork. Jess doesn't leave anything to chance and had plenty of suggestions of her own that made a massive difference on the day. When we walked in the setup blew us both away - we had a picture in our mind of what it would look like, but nothing prepared us for the beautiful warm autumn themed venue ,not just the main room that greeted us. The flowers were incredible and the cake was spectacular - both the subject of much discussion through the event. The room was dressed beautifully The food was beautiful, and special platters were brought to the table places for those with allergies/dietary requirements which was a lovely touch. there was enough food that there was some spare to bring out for later in the evening. the staff were fantastic as a team, I would like to single out Jess especially as she not only made sure we were where we needed to be but also managed her team from the front, by example not the sides. We would recommend this venue 1000%

We had our wedding here last month and we're still on cloud 9. Everything was perfect, we had the best day ever. The venue is stunning but the time and effort put in to personalise the decor was excellent and really set the scene for us. The food was outstanding and many of our guests commented on this. The day itself was incredibly well organised, we couldn't have asked for anything more. Jess was our coordinator and she really made it easy for us, as we were pretty clueless!
