Walcot Hall is a Georgian country house steeped in character and history. The building alone makes for one of the most unusual wedding venues in Shropshire, however Walcot Hall is also a family home. Its business is not exclusively weddings, however it is no surprise that it ranks as one of Shropshire’s top wedding reception venues. The Hall may be a grand historic house but it’s certainly not imposing. We guarantee you will love the eclectic furnishings and rustic romance of the rambling estate, and the masses of curiosities will certainly get your guests talking… We know that your wedding day is one of the most special days of your life which is why we work hard to make your time at Walcot Hall memorable, magical and above all, unique. We work alongside you through the wedding planning process and offer a friendly and relaxed approach. We want you to have the best day possible so will endeavour to turn your wedding ideas (and Pinterest boards) into reality! We know we’re not a 5* hotel, which is why we don’t try to be! But we can promise a stay full of fun, character, surprise and intrigue for you and all of your guests. Having your wedding party with you for the whole weekend (we can accommodate up to 110 guests onsite in our holiday cottages, cabins and glamping accommodation) means you can utilise the space the estate has to offer and make the most of your time at one of Shropshire’s most unique wedding venues.
